Krystalblood quickly peeped behind a corner deep within the darkened, uncomfortably warm halls of the Medonian Monastery. It was one in the morning, all the monks were asleep but Krystal knew they were trained to awake at the slightest sound of a pin dropping out of place.
She had stumbled upon the hidden collection of marble buildings when she was circumfering the large volcano's base and decided to investigate further under the guise of a bone-weary traveler. It had taken a mere five days to get used to the ebb and flow and routines of the monastery and although the monks didn't show it, Krystal knew she was starting to wear her welcome. She decided that night would be her last and she would leave with a bang. Or at least with a few worthy mementos of her visit.
Sure the hall was clear, Krystal dashed around it, down the hallway towards a set of stairs that led to the lengthy basement of the main building. She had escaped there on her second day and found it filled with treasures; obviously a treasury. She wasn't able to get a good look because monks were present seemingly everywhere at all times and an innocent traveler could lose their innocense in a costy room like that.
Fortunately, few obstacles had appeared before the infamous thief and she was already making her way down the staircase. All she had to do was make her way down the hallway, through a small wooden door and she was in. She chuckled to herself as she adjusted the cloth stuck to the bottom of her boots and wrapped around her sword and sheath, and quiver. This would take no time flat.

Flyss sat on her haunches on her bed. This was a night of a new moon - which left Flyss as a wolf until the first beams of sun covered the area and monastery. Her ears twitched as she heard someone attempt to tread silently through the barren halls. The brown coated wolf rose and padded silently down to investigate. She knew her paws would give away her stealth - she did not care. As the lycan paced down the marble stairs - her amber eyes saw the monastery's guest. The wolf-girl found it strange that the keifling was trodding around the building at such an odd hour of the night. She silently bounded down the the stairs - her tail wagging as if telling the guest she meant no harm.

Cloud climbed the last length of the monastery walls to the very top. Krystal had told him she was heading this way, and how could she not stop here to take advantage of the monks? Cloud crouched and waited for his "cue", as always. For some reason Krystal couldn't ever get out without a fight.

Krystal shut the door behind just as she heard something. She froze, ears perked and body tense, trying not to lean against the door. The sound eventually stopped and she resisted the urge to exhale heavily. That was close. Had thr monk, or whoever had been there, seen her? Apparantly not since no one was trying to come in.
Rubbing her hands together Krystal crept into the dark room. She fumbled over a lantern and swore quietly. With a small word she snapped her fingers and the latern came into light, flickering and cheery.
There must have been some sort of chain magic between the lamps and lanterns scattered throughout the treasurey because numerous others lit up as the first one burned. An entire room suddenly came into light and Krystal gasped. Cases with jade and golden necklaces and rare, unique books lined the room. Bookshelves on either side obviously held countless amounts of books.
'Worthless!' she snorted. She immediately snuck over to the far end of the room. there, several chests were lined up, checking behind her shoulder to make sure no one was there and continued forward. She reached her hand towards a case holding a pure silver necklace and diamond ring, meaning to take the costy prize.

Cloud heard Krystal as she spoke, knowing her voice. Had she been so foolish as to not notice the being following her, and to speak? Cloud silently hopped down the building. He snapped his fingers and faded into the darkness. He walked into the room where he assumed Krystal was, right past the wolf's site, which he now recognized the being as. He looked around. There were many treasures, but the most valuable to him were the books contained on the shelves. They were priceless, one of a kind. He quietly stuffed book after book into his seemingly limitless pack.

Krystal's eyes widened at the sound of another in the room. SHe stoof up, unsheathed her blade clumsily because of the cloth wrapped around it and whirled around, vicious snarl on her face.
At the sight of her clan leader stealing her grip on her sword loosened and it slipped to the floor with a muffle thud as she stared at him. She suddenly sat down, laughing uncontrollably. After a few seconds she saw his strange look and she stood up, sheathing her sword. After clicking open the locks on the chests and ridding them of their traps she started taking out the rare and valuable coins and putting them in her pack.
"Y'know I'm surprised to see YOU here, Cloud." she muttered quietly, admiring a necklace briefly before stashing it away. "You of all people stealing. Glad to hear my profession's hobby is rubbin' off on ya. Just don't take anything I would. Keep the books for all I care, I'll settle for gold and jewelery."

Cloud nodded and looked at the shelves. They were completley emptied into his sack. He looked to the ground and saw a broach, along with a few other rare items. and then, buried beneath the gold and silver, was a beautiful pendant. When Cloud touched it, it glowed red. Cloud quickly buried the pendant into his sack, and then took a few other things. He found a few other odd items in the room, like the pendant. He buried each within his sack, and then continued by grabbing items like Krystal had been taking, items of seemingly more value, after he had taken the items that were beyond value.

Krystal stopped after a few more items in her bag. She stood up, hefting it onto her back. it was heavy enough, she could get a good winter's amount of food right here. She didn't wanna lug the entire treasury back to Drakkar. She leaned on a small case, watchign Cloud slowly empty the contents of the room into his bag.
She whistled low and long. "Well well well. Cloud's inner personality finally reveals itself. Him, a thief. Who knew." she whistled again and shook her head but straightened up. "When you're done devouring those things, i suggest we leave. You should know I thought I heard someone following me in here. Eh suits me fine. Alarms might go off at any minute if they saw me. A good chase never hurt anyone. At least me." she warned, looking Cloud in the eye.

Flyss saw the keifling and cloud pass no regard to her. She shifted her head to an angle as if wondering what the two were doing. She trotted further to the room and her amber eyes widened at what was going on. Her ears laid back and her tail stiffened. The tufts of hair on her back rose two. She started to growl at the two with great ferocity. Her upper lip curled up - bearing her canine teeth that seemed to be whiter than most wolves teeth. The monks had let Flyss stay there and they taught her to control and deal with her wolf phases. The least she could do was protect them from losing their precious treasures.

Krystals eyes widened as shefinished her statement. With a low gulp she slowly turned towards the door. A large wolf stood there, growling and showing mighty fangs. With slow, deliberate movements she slipped out her bow and knocked an arrow. "Good doggy, nice doggy, stay still now." she cooed, not making jerky movements.
"Cloud, get out of here. This....this "thing" could've woken up others. I'll meet you outside so prepare to watch my back." she said, aiming at the wolf. She didn't think it was a perfectly 'solid' wolf though. It seemed almost...human in a way.

The wolf seemed to make some weird vocal sounds that were often flooded with her growling that seemed to be growing more intense. Flyss stood her ground and guarded the ancient door from the two intruders escaping. The wolf's eyes flashed with anger and hatred towards the guests the monks had willingly let them stay with them.
"Soo........is this how.... you repay us?" The wolf seemed to say between growls.

Krystal dropped her weapon in surprise. The wolf spoke! With a quick movement she had picked it up again. So a wolf talked, looks like she was right after all. She grinned viciously, nodding to Cloud.
"Yes, by stealing your treasures. Now unless you don't want to tell the tale, I suggest you move from that exit...or pay the price she said, firing off a warning arrow between the wolf's ears and taking off a strand of fur or two.

"Its bad luck to commit a crime in this monastery you know." She gave a wolfish grin. (no pun intended) "I suppose you're luck has run dry yourself. Committing such petty crimes. Oh Woe is you!" She continued in a facetious tone of voice with some added faux drama. "But please do tell your tale! I'm not ready to kill or be killed yet..."

Cloud returned his sack to his back and ran at the wolf. He knocked it back a bit, and motioned to krystal, who followed ((i am only doing this because she won't be on for awhile, so i am sorta getting her to follow myself >_<)). They made there way 20 yards from the monastery and looked back to see if the wolf was following.

Flyss growls as she is pushed to a side. She looks to where Cloud and Krystal ran off to and let a loud howl ring through the whole area - miles and miles beyond the monastery. This certainly woke all the monks. The wolf then bolted out of the monastery - the scent of the betrayers stunk up the air. Flyss blended in with the bushes and followed them from a safe distance.
